Best hostel we've been to, Lodge Dinorwig elevated our standards. Spacious lounge with bed curtains for privacy. Showers had warm water and ample space. Food was great, even picky eater husband loved it. Sonni was amazing, thoughtful in all aspects - laminated routes, weather forecasts, ear plugs. Well-organized and accommodating host. Short drive to Snowdon climb and Llanberis. Excellent amenities. Thanks a lot!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lodge Dinorwig. The bunk beds were comfortable and having my own little curtain, light, and socket made it feel really cozy and private. The shower was delightfully hot and the view from my room in the morning was simply breathtaking. The breakfast, especially the barista coffee, was delicious and satisfying. The communication from the host, Sonni, was fantastic and she went above and beyond to accommodate any changes in my plans. The common areas were spacious and inviting, and I enjoyed meeting other guests there. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers was impeccable. I had a fantastic experience at this lodge and I can't wait to come back.
One minor drawback was that having 14 beds in the dorm room, separated by curtains, sometimes made it a bit uncomfortable to talk at night without potentially disturbing others. It would have been nice to have separate dorms if possible.

The location was cozy and peaceful, up on a hill with a breathtakingly beautiful view. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we were catered for, even coming in early to cook us breakfast. The room amenities were excellent, with brand new and clean beds and sheets. We had access to a sitting area, dining table, and garden furniture, making it a truly luxurious experience. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and the view outside was simply stunning.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was very convenient, close to all the main attractions. the staff was extremely helpful, providing great recommendations and giving us detailed directions on how to get around the city. the room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. the breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. We also enjoyed the complimentary Wi-Fi and the free toiletries.
The walls were quite thin, and we could hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. the shower was a bit small and cramped, and the water pressure was not very strong.

During our xmas stay, we couldn't have been more pleased with the cleanliness and standard of facilities in the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they were always willing to provide helpful suggestions for things to do in the surrounding area. Also, the location of the hotel was a huge plus, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and scenic spots. Additionally, we really appreciated the delicious dinners offered, which were perfect for a cozy night in during the winter season.
The non-refundable payment policy was a bit of a downside for us, especially during such an uncertain time with potential cancellations due to family emergencies or illness. Additionally, the dorm room felt a bit cramped at times, with limited space for personal belongings. However, these were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful stay.
